Newborn Nursery Baby Doll – Wee Wonder – Sleepy Head – Medium Skin, Brown Hair, Brown Eyes
Sleepy Head is a premmie-sized baby and is lighter than the normal Newborn Nursery baby and a little smaller. This baby is perfect for smaller or frail people. This little baby has medium coloured skin and it’s eyes are half open.
The name “Sleepy Head” is because, well this sweetie looks just about ready for a nap. Dressed in knit asymmetrical-close t-shirts with matching diaper covers and hats, these babies are ready to be brought home and taken care of. Babies are just over 48 cm long and weigh approximately 1.36 kg. They look like the real thing and — when you pick them up — they feel like it too!
Introducing Lee Middleton Dolls Inc and Doll Therapy
Child Representation/Doll Therapy: Why does it improve the well-being of some older adults with dementia?
Dolls have a remarkable effect on women and men in the moderate to late stages of dementia. They are calming, soothing and bring the person back to a time in their life when they felt useful and had a sense of purpose, when caring for a baby was their number one priority. Giving someone a “baby” doll brings them back to that safe and secure time in their life and these high quality dolls are guaranteed to fulfill our instinctive need to care, to love and to be loved. People living with dementia can gain comfort from the companionship that a doll can provide and can act as a constant figure in their lives, overcoming loneliness.
